Mama's Mopine

With the passing of my mama recently, I am always delighted when I come across something that was so dear to her and our family.


My mother never kept paper towels or napkins, only mopines. A mopine is an italian term for napkin, hand towel, or wash cloth.

Never mess with the woman's mopine. No, Sundays are not Sundays without her favorite mopine.
